I am building a move into IT with a focus on infrastructure, hosting, automation, and practical support tooling. My recent work combines Laravel platform development, self-hosting, monitoring, and secure access workflows with a strong operational background from healthcare and military service.
Built multi-factor authentication flows, recovery controls, and admin-side reset tooling for safer account access.
Added central SSO functionality to support trusted external services with controlled client management.
Implemented uptime checks, alerting, staged outage confirmation, and dashboard visibility for operational services.
Delivered ticketing, invite flows, feature flags, lifecycle automation, and maintenance actions for day-to-day operations.
I currently work in the ambulance service as part of a team specialising in pre-term and sick babies. That environment has built a strong mindset around responsibility, teamwork, calm decision-making, and getting details right when they matter.
IT has always been a serious hobby for me. For a long time I kept it that way after being advised that hobbies should stay hobbies rather than become work. I now want to change that and move the technical work I have been building around hosting, infrastructure, automation, and application support into a professional IT role.
I am also a veteran of the British Army, and I now volunteer with the Army Cadet Force. That background continues to shape how I approach discipline, reliability, and supporting people properly.

Implemented MFA onboarding, challenge flows, backup codes, invitation prompts, and admin recovery controls to improve account security without blocking normal use.
Added SSO client management and identity-provider style behaviour so external services can trust a central authentication source.
Built uptime checks, manual validation actions, downtime and recovery alerting, and dashboard visibility with operational controls suited to real service maintenance.
Delivered ticketing lifecycles, inbound email handling, feature toggles, invite flows, and practical maintenance tooling designed for repeatable admin use.
